Hey Trent, you ought to post your email over on the right in case people have problems at RW, especially with the upcoming acid test of the unattended server cluster experiment.
ReplyDeleteOr can other people start threads on this blog to make such comments?
Because adding a comment here seems like a rather weak way for people to report problems.
Has it gone again, or is it just me?
ReplyDeleteNo: it's back, sorry.
ReplyDeleteDown again?
ReplyDeleteCan't access it
ReplyDeleteOver an hour now.
ReplyDeleteDOOMED! We're all doomed.
ReplyDeleteHow long's he away? TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteOuch
ReplyDeleteThe potential for nervous breakdowns for many WIGO addicts is currently at a critical level. I knew that no good would come from his leave.
ReplyDeleteTo quote Anon above (and private fraser of course)
ReplyDeleteDOOMED! We're all DOOMED!
Seems that distraction is gone, and now Honest Tom Estes has become boring. How am I going to avoid working now?
ReplyDeleteYup, still down for me too (16:52 GMT if that helps)
ReplyDeleteHey CPMonitor - you should write something about the unabashed Obama hatefest going on on CP right now and how the level of personalization and hate is markedly different than the kind of dissent the left leveled at Bush. You should also write about how Andy is now rewriting the bible with absolutely no consideration for what the Greek or KJV says, but solely to satisfy his ideological interests in having a "conservative bible," which of course he can't succinctly or meaningfully define.
ReplyDeleteLightening up:
ReplyDelete"My cat died of fleas."
"Cats don't die of fleas."
"They do if they give 'em to me!"

ReplyDeleteOn a similar note. My dog has no nose. How does it smell? Terrible!
ReplyDelete@Cockgobbler - good suggestion for Obama & CP. Only problem is, not being a Yank, I'm not as exposed to the daily goings on in the US, but by purely looking at CP - and maybe comparing their attitude to when Bush was pres, could make for interesting reading. All I need now is time.
Things to do without RW:
ReplyDeleteBBC R4 8:00 tonight:
The Atheist and the Bishop
Episode 1
1/3. Philosopher Dr Miranda Fricker and Lord Harries of Pentregarth tackle suffering and death.
good work took a point
ReplyDeleteI've been unable to access RW for the past week. Missing the replies to that nice conservative blog too
ReplyDeleteSame here. The server doesn't.
